Prop 82 gives a free, high quality preschool education to every four-year old in California. It provides trained, credentialed teachers in every classroom, more parental involvement, and strict accountability and enforcement to ensure that every dollar is dedicated to preschool.





Prop 82 will help more children read and learn, which will strengthen our schools and improve education for all our kids.
To make preschool available to all children witch I think is a good Idea.
It seems to be our (CA) way of getting a ';HEAD COUNT'; of the pre-school aged children in an attempt to secure the funds that will be required to give these children a more adequate learning environment when they start kindergarten. If we start them at age 4, then by age 5, they SHOULD have the basic skills required to start regular school %26amp; the State will ALREADY have the funding available from the Federal Level to assure 100% of the standard levels of education to already be in place by the time the 4 year olds reach 5. It should prove to be a win/win in regards to the simple fact that funding that has been earmarked for one thing will no longer needed to be re-routed to something other than what it was ORIGINALLY INTENDED for (this is happening NOW, %26amp; it needs to Stop).
