Need professional legal secretary to review my resume for free & advise?

I have no literally no money for professional service and used the ';free'; ones in past and got some different advice. I think I have added too much information that is ';common sense'; to a firm administrator and would like to weed out the necessaries. Been actively seeking employment but no interviews in this bad economy. Can e-mail a copy to you. Thank you.Need professional legal secretary to review my resume for free %26amp; advise?
Please be aware of what you are proposing on getting yourself into. Please do more research first. Reminder: We are in a World-wide Recession. Consider career paths that have available jobs.%26lt;%26lt;%26lt;%26lt;%26lt;

Warning%26gt; Jobs in the field of Law are drying up fast!! This is just not a good field to invest time and/or money into. This is a SHRINKING, crumbling, and dying vocational field. Many reasons. Many people today (mistakenly) think they can do their own legal work, thanks to the Internet. Also, we simply already have way too many Legal Professionals - we have an absolute glut!! (';Legal Professionals'; includes, but is not limited to: Attorneys/Lawyers, Paralegals, Legal Assistants, Legal Secretaries, Bailiffs, Court Reporters, etc, etc)

There are no jobs in this vocational field. My family, coworkers, friends, acqaintances, etc. are being laid off left and right in this vocational field.

Regarding being a Legal Secretary: Employers (usually law firms) in the field of Law today want employees with BACHELORS degrees from traditional colleges/universities. Those ';certificates'; you see advertised aren't worth the paper they are printed on - they are generally scams. (I found this out the hard way.)

Even if you finish law school, you won't be able to find a job when you are done. Since this vocational field is shrinking, many new attorneys/lawyers are, themselves, having to work ';down'; as Paralegals, Legal Assistants, Legal Secretaries, Bailiffs, Court Reporters, etc, etc, to simply try to keep some of their bills paid %26lt;%26lt;this would be your competition. And the competition is fierce!!

Now... the law schools know this, but they won't tell you the truth %26gt;that the job market/economy is just saturated with way too many Legal Professionals. Instead the schools will feed you a fairytale and will lie to you. The root of the problem is we have too many law schools. We are in a recession, and the schools are fighting for their own survival - they will tell students anything to get to the students' money. (Which is why they won't tell you the truth about the job market for the field of Law.) And these schools continue to recruit and churn out even more graduates.............Remember: law schools are BUSINESSES - their top concern is making money for themselves.

If you don't believe me, then just do a search here on Yahoo Answers to see what other posters are saying about the current status of the field of Law. Call some local law firms - ask to speak to the Manager of Human Resources - ask them if they are hiring; ask them what they think about job availability in the field of Law..................

In the book ';So You Want to be a Lawyer?'; by Marianne Calabrese and Susanne Calabrese (ISBN 0-88391-136-1): ';The United States has more lawyers than any other country in the world. About 38,000 students graduate %26gt;each year%26lt; from the 200+ law schools in the United States. The competition is very keen for jobs and clients.'; - Even Associate Justice Antonin Scalia (who served on the U.s. Supreme Court for more than 20 years) says there are too many lawyers. If you want a job when you are done with your studies, consider and look into the fields of %26gt;%26gt;%26gt;Healthcare or Information Technology! I spoke to a career counselor from Jobs and Family Services, and HE told me that these areas are where the jobs are, and future job availability! and scholarships!

Good luck.

How to prevent hair fall, I am a 23 year old male & loosing a lot of hair. Please advise?

Hair falls on many reasons. You can not stop it, but you can slow it down.

Keep your hair clean and non sticky. That is the best remedy. Use mild shampoo and never use a toilet soap to the head. Never use heater to dry your hair. Wash the head regularly and apply a lean coat of hair fixing creams. Never allow hair to float in the air.

I am thinking about getting Net Zero dial up, any advise?

I want to save some money, but not sure if this would be a good move. Has anyone out there have it. Do you have to have a land line?I am thinking about getting Net Zero dial up, any advise?
Yes, if you want to go back to dial up, you have to have a land telephone line.I am thinking about getting Net Zero dial up, any advise?
You need a landline.! I used to use Netzero..A nightmare of ads, and pop-ups...There must be a better one. Netzero is also very hard to cancel..It took me 3 months to officially cancel..I got switched from place to place, until I found their headquarters in Woodland Hills, CA. There is a FREE Netzero...but you are limited in time used each month, and even more ads..(Netzero and Juno, same animal..)

My Jeep Grand Cherokee 2001 air con comes on and off and appears electrical fault but acn anyone advise plse?

Garage has quoted for complete new unit but when it is on it works perfectly. My Jeep Grand Cherokee 2001 air con comes on and off and appears electrical fault but acn anyone advise plse?
I have to risk insulting your car knowledge, but...

If the heater control is set on Defrost, or any combination including Defrost, your A/C compressor will run. That's normal. And if the temp controls are set to Cold, it will BE Air Conditioned air coming out of whatever vents (again, with the controls set to Def in any combination).

Your garage should know this, as it is nothing new or unique.

Do you mean that the A/C comes on when it's turned completely off? There is, by the way, a test to diagnose only the HVAC systems in Chrysler vehicles. I am not sure how it would work on yours, because the system models vary.My Jeep Grand Cherokee 2001 air con comes on and off and appears electrical fault but acn anyone advise plse?
what is the problem? control head shuts off, blower motor quits, lack of airlow?

if the whole control head is shutting down including the rear defrost i would have to agree the most likely cause would be the control head. it is not unlikely or uncommon.

First time going to a Job fair and I need advise on how to make a good impression.?

Basically I am in desperate need for a job, in an area that does not have too many jobs available.

Please post any advise you might have.First time going to a Job fair and I need advise on how to make a good impression.?
Have lots of resumes with you, dress nicely in a dark sensible suit or pants outfit. Smile at the people behind the booths and make eye contact!First time going to a Job fair and I need advise on how to make a good impression.?
Give some thought to the kind of things that you want to do, type of roles and employers and seek out businesses that seem to fit well. Also think about the skills and experience you have to offer.
I've heard someone say that you should not where heals taller that 2 inches. Like she said, take plenty of resumes, eye contact, smile, be confident and have a good attitude. Also, if you have cleavage, do not show it, and if you have nice legs do not go over two inches above you knee either, ok, they might think you are trying too hard... good luck
Dress conservatively, stick to lower heels (comfort factor), and make sure you are looking good. Bring a ton of resumes because it's better to take some home than to run out. Talk to the people at the booths even if it isn't a place you are looking to work at because they may know someone who could use you. Make sure to have a positive and upbeat attitude as well.

Does anyone have advise for a interview for a supervisor position?

I have a interview for a supervisor position this Thursday, but I dont have any supervisory skills. It's a position in child welfare, and I have been working in the field since 2005 but never as a supervisior. Can anyone give me advise for the interview? This will be my first interview for a supervisior postion and I'm kind of nervous...please help!!Does anyone have advise for a interview for a supervisor position?
Congratulations on the upcoming interview!

1) You mention you have no supervisory experience in child welfare, but what about in your life? Do you have kids? If so, trust me, you have supervisory experience. Managing people in your personal life (particularly your children) Takes a lot of skill and the talents you use to accomplish this are the same talents you’d use in the world of work. In other words, we’re talking about “transferable skills”. BTW: It seems to me that if you’re a caseworker, you’re supervising case loads all the time.

2) Having no skills in this field as a supervisor means that you would come into this position with no bad habits. You are highly trainable. That is a plus. Let it be known that you are open to learning and growing on the job and that doing an excellent job as a supervisor would be of paramount importance to you.

3) Ask them what they’re looking for in a supervisor. They may say experience, but it’s more than likely that they’ll tell you they’re looking for someone who is just, who listens and observes well, who will stay on top of the issues at hand with her people.

Good luck! I’d love to know how it works out for you.

RitaDoes anyone have advise for a interview for a supervisor position?
be confident; point out what you have done; and how good it done; say you r a good listener; have patient; fair; have a good team work; high stander on ethic; fast learner;good organizer; most you r in good health; stress wont let you down. point out what you want to do with your life; want more advance in your line of work; how much would you be good and importance to the company to hire you...BE YOURSELF...BE CONFIDENT..KEEP YOUR HEAD HIGH..SIT STRAIGHT. LOOK STRAIGHT IN THE EYE OF INTERVIEWER WHILE YOU ANSWER QUESTION..DO ASK QUESTION IF YOU CAN NOT ANSWER RIGHT AWAY...ETC......GOOD LUCK
Do some homework on the supervisor position and see if there any more positions you can look up to read more about the position details. Memorize all the details and be confident. Strong and forthcoming are two great interviewing skills. Good luck.
The only advise is, be honest. Tell them that you don't have the experience, but you are willing to learn and are looking forward to take new responsibilities.
convince them on how good a job you will do and am good learner

  • Anyone got any advise on how to relieve period pain?

Hey I'm in serious pain with cramps and its making me feel like crap, I started my period, anyone got any suggestions ?Anyone got any advise on how to relieve period pain?
Eat yogurt every day to ensure less future cramps. This has been scientifically proven by Swedish doctors.Anyone got any advise on how to relieve period pain?
I get really bad pains, and this are some things i do to help relieve them.

About a week before i'm due my period,i'll start taking Oil Of Evening Primrose capsules daily. They help with women's hormones and make period cramps less painfull.

    Also,take pain killers for cramps.

Drink warm drinks, cold can irritate cramps.

Do some light exercise like riding a bike or walking your dog.

And the creme de la creme,a hot water bottle on your tummy always helps a ton!
just keep drinking and you won't feel as bad.
Try taking Midol and a heat pack or hot water bottle on your abdominal area.
well if you just started it cannot be that serious. i always feel better after a little exercise. it helps you forget about the pain and focuses your mind on something else.

Can someone please advise me on how to get 2 toddlers and 2 preschoolers to pick up one set of toys?

before getting out another? I can't find anything that seems to work, and I'm getting tired of picking them of continuously throughout the day everyday. Any ideas??Can someone please advise me on how to get 2 toddlers and 2 preschoolers to pick up one set of toys?
    Institute the 5-second rule. When polite requests are rebuffed, announce, ';Okay, please put away the toy before you take out another. You have 5 seconds to clean up that toy, or there will be repercussions. I'm going to count down from 5. If you don't put away the toy, you're going to lose it for X days (1 day per year old). You won't be able to play with it. 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... Okay, you don't get to play with this toy.';

Then pick up the toy and put it away someplace out-of-reach and out-of-sight.

    Several guidelines:

    1) Be sure to ask them several times and make it clear to them what you are about to do.

    2) It takes several embargoed toys before a 2- or 3-year-old remembers. If you get asked about the toy the next day, it's an opportunity to remind the children about repercussions.

    3) Repercussions is a big word, but they'll quickly learn what it means and even how to pronounce it. Be consistent in your terminology so that the words ';you have 5 seconds'; and ';repercussions'; trigger a memory of what is about to happen if they don't follow your instructions.

    4) Yes, the kids will cry the first few times they face repercussions. Don't expect the rules to work with visiting friends who have different rules at their homes.

This system works brilliantly with my 3-year-old daughter. By the time I count down to 3, she is on her way to clean up.

If I fall behind in enforcement and there are lots of toys left out, the enormity of the task is overwhelming. I direct her attention by pointing out specific toys to put away, and help her with the most troublesome tasks (such as cleaning up a group of tiny things like play food... it takes small hands forever to do it, but I can scoop them up in seconds). Helping your child on occasion will aid their willingness to do what's appropriate. And, being consistent when you lay down the law will let your children know when there's no use trying to test their boundaries. Can someone please advise me on how to get 2 toddlers and 2 preschoolers to pick up one set of toys?
i find my kids play better if i don't limit them to one set of toys at a time ... they're more creative if they get out the toy trucks to go riding on the roads they built out of blocks, and then they decide they'll make some signs for the trucks with paper and markers, and then they have to build a mountain out of pillows, and then ....

what i do is have cleanup time about three times a day when everything has to get picked up. (either i give them each a room to work on; or i'll assign one kid the blocks, one the stuffed animals, one the couch pillows(!), etc.; on days when i'm really feeling good i'll get out the flashlight and point it at what they're supposed to pick up next, or let them do it; or turn on music and let them freeze dance while cleaning up; etc.) in between cleanup times, i like to think of it as ';creativity';, not ';mess';. ;-)
I am assuming that you have tried time-outs already... what about a reward type system? How about a sticker for each person that helps clean up. The one with the most stickers at the end of the week gets a special sucker or something small.
Put them in a bin just high enough so they have to ask for help getting the next toy(s). At this point they return the original. In time, they will learn and you can incorporate the toy rule to their toy box which will be accessible to them.
invest in baskets... keep them on shelves where your children can't reach (and can not try and climb to get to...) they can take out one basket at a time (or one for each child) and have to clean up before taking out anything else. this will also help keep toys ';new'; and exciting for them because you can change out which toys you put in the baskets

Does anyone know good advise in keeping control of a hot temper?

It just seems so very difficult in controlling one's temper when they deal with another's bad attitude. Is there anything a person can do as far as controlling their emotions, so it avoids a person's own self destruction?Does anyone know good advise in keeping control of a hot temper?
If you practice developing compassion toward others, this will become easier over time. You will be able to laugh at the poor jerk who cut you off in traffic, smile at the poor soul who gets stressed out because they screwed up your order at the Starbucks, chuckle lovingly at deluded attitudes and behaviors -- all while saying a little prayer to yourself for the suffering of the other person.

It doesn't come naturally because all our lives we are trained to grasp at our own egos and make ourselves ';#1.'; But you can get there, and when you do you'll find it a very happy place to be.

In the mean time, something you can try in the moment that things like this come up: picture the other person as yourself. you've just made a mistake by acting poorly or treating another person unkindly. deep down, you know it was a mistake. how would you like to be treated? then, treat that person in that way.

Why do people take offense when you do not take their advise?

Why do others feel they need to tell you how to live?

Why can't they mind their own business, and leave us alone? Why do people take offense when you do not take their advise?
I find my self going through the same thing lately, they seem to know alot about others lives and how to live them when they even have trouble living there own, granted I dont make a lot of good decisions but that doesn't mean i need other people to make wrong decisions for me, I want my self to be the only one to blame if something goes wrong. Why do people take offense when you do not take their advise?
Because most people think they are right. If they care about you, they usually want to do what is best for you and usually always think they know what that is. I myself believe that experience is a good teacher and think a lot of people must learn by living it. At 30 however I often look back and wish I had taken mother's advice more than once.

Good look with your journey through life!
Because everyone thinks is a manager of everyone elses' lives. Your best advisor is you. F...k em all and do as you please
Some people have a Psychological Need to tell others how to live their lives. In some ways, advising others gives people a feeling of self-importance or a feeling of superiority.

Advice, when given in a tactful and diplomatic form, can be constructive rather than coming off as harsh criticism or where it's someone else who is trying to tell someone how things should be done.

The worst types of advisors are those who advise others, but their own lives are a mess and where they should really be heeding their own advice first to clean up their lives before telling others how to clean up theirs.

There are certain cases where intervention in the form of advice may be necessary, but it should be reserved for extreme cases where the individual poses a harm to himself or to others.

Too much advice can create dependency and where those who are being told what to do will develop a passive personality that is unable to think independently because the individual never got the opportunity to develop his or her own reasoning skills to solve problems on their own.
well if your of the kind that sits around moaning and complaining all the time....... whining what am i going to do and someone gives you a resolution to your problem...if that be the case then I'd take offense too usually people can't offer advice unless you give them an opening
Good question... I have often felt the same... However if they give advice it is usually because they want to help...

us as accepters should home in on our skills at accepting other peoples ideas and taking the good and neglecting the bad - respectfully

    Blessed,
you may in some way asked or suggested you needed advice and then didn't take it..some people do that all the time and never take the advice given..then come back later to complain, it's annoying and you get sick of it after a while
well if i gave you my advice you probably wouldnt take it then i'd have to hunt you down, so its best that i dont say anything
maybe because you asked a question but other than that i don't know

Looking for advise on purchasing a franchise. Looking for advise on lease and franchise agreements.?

Best places to seek out advise and info.Looking for advise on purchasing a franchise. Looking for advise on lease and franchise agreements.?
There are so many different franchised businesses that it's impossible to give you any specific information, but there are a few general things that might help you.

First, if this is your first venture into the ';joys'; of owning your own business, I would strongly recommend talking to the Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) about your business plan. You'll also want to have a lawyer look over the documents, but start with the SBA and SCORE, as they are both a lot of help and free.

Next, talk to some current franchise holders of the company that you're investigating. This shouldn't be a problem, as most franchises have dedicated territories for each franchise holder. Don't ask the company for these names. Find a phone book and pick your own.

Ask how well the company supports them with supplies, advertising and training. Talk to several, and remember that no matter how good a company is, there is someone that is unhappy with it, and no matter how bad it is, somebody will still think it's just great, so talk to several.Looking for advise on purchasing a franchise. Looking for advise on lease and franchise agreements.?
The best place to go is to the source of your attention. it is very different from one leaser to the next.

one thing that is common, if you are leasing a name or becoming a franchise, you have to abide by there minimal standards or face breach of contract or even criminal charges for not upholding the image of the name. i would first look into what i am interested in putting my name on, then find out what they have to offer and what is required from them individually.

  • Please give advise on how to become pregnant?

Like when, where, how? Is all that nonsense true about cold shower, hot shower? I am married, by the way! Please give advise on how to become pregnant?
Have sex every day from day 12 to day 17. Personally, I conceived on day 17 which is really quite late in the cycle for most women. My period is exactly 28 days every month. Also, your mindset makes a hell of a difference. Have sex for the fun of it not for the purpose of trying to get pregnant because it starts to become a chore rather than a desire. Light some candles. Purchase some naughty lingerie and engage in plenty of foreplay. Try random places in the house and try turning your partner on at random times of the day such as when cooking dinner or while watching TV. Also, try to orgasm each time as it helps to shift the sperm closer to your cervix so they don't have to swim as far. Once he has ejaculated, keep your cervix tilted to the ceiling and just lay there for 20 mins to allow gravity to work. I know you have probably heard all this before but try to keep it fun. Good luck to you. Please give advise on how to become pregnant?
have sex when you are ovulating or right before ovulation(you can use an ovulation kit). you can get checked to make sure you are fertile and also have your partner checked. good luck, just don't stress about it. make it fun
    ignore all that shower stuff...now

if you have regular periods..you have to count 14 from the day your period starts..so let say you count those 14 days..and you know you will be ovulating on a wednesday..so i suggest you start trying 5 days before you ovulate and of course the day you ovulate...i know it might not work the first time but you have to get to know your cycle..and then you'll know..just dont think about it too much and dont get stressed out about it...im sure you get it.

my mom never used anything to test when they wanted to get pregnant just that method...and it has worked fine.

I will be using the same method...:)

Which prams do you advise for a new born?

I love the big prams but right now, cant afford one. I really like the Mamas%26amp;papas Luna prams but can anyone advise any good quality prams that arent too expensive?!Which prams do you advise for a new born?
i have the mamas and papas ultima travel system which i really like because it has a 3 different parts that fit onto the wheel chasis, it has a carseat, carrycot and stroller. The carrycot was great when my baby was newborn and she even uses it now to have her naps in. Its a nice traditional looking pram unlike some other travel systems that are based around a carseat. When you think about your going to be out roughly the same amount of money by the time you buy the wheels, carseat, pram and then the stroller part when there that bit older no matter what make you buy!Which prams do you advise for a new born?
Hi mostly prams are the same and depending where you go is to what price they are, I dont like the ones that are just basically a car seat that fits onto the wheels, like the travel systems as basically there in this all the time, so I got a Silvercross sleepover delux which was quite expensive but I got everything with it and dont need to buy anything else now.

The most popular ones i have see are the silvercross 3D ones now the baby can still lie down and if you do have the matching car seat then they fit on to the wheelsas a travel system and they are much smaller that mine which is the sleepover.
all the prams are the same really. the only differene is they fold up differently. as long as your baby is warm and safe that is all that matters. if you want a mamas and pappas pram for cheaper i would advise you to go to the stores that sell them and tell them you want the one that is out on display youwill that way get at least a 100 off the asking price. i did that 9 months ago. or even ask them when there is a new range of prams coming in which means they will have to sell off the old stock. good luck and hope your baby is healthy and sleeps well for you!!!!
I can advise my Graco travel system. It's great and comes with everything except the carry cot which is extra. My baby has been really cosy in hers and the buggy grows with the child. The car seat is really good because it comes with the base so you don't need to install it each time - it just clicks into place. The tyres are lasting out too - we walk a lot and did a ten mile walk on Sunday. The baby does not have to stay in the car seat as mentioned above, as the buggy reclines, she's in that now (9 months old) When she was newborn we used the carry cot that fits in to take her on her country walks.
We bought the Graco Travel System from Babies R Us which was great value for money, you get the car seat which is great for obvious reasons, but also good for when baby is sleeping in the car and you can just take the whole thing out and clip it to the pushchair, and for when they get older it is also a front facing pushchair. We paid 拢185 in the sale, but I think the full price is 拢230, for what you get its a bargain. It comes with nappy bag, snuggle toes cover and raincover.

Not sure if they are still doing this one, but check out the link below for the up-to-date range. (the only downside to these pushchair is the size when folded, if you have a small car fiesta etc you will have to put the back seats down, as I found out when borrowing my mother-in-laws car for the day!!! - however it fit perfect in our vectra and stores away nicely in the house)

    http://www.toysrus.co.uk/category.aspx/b鈥?/a>
whats your price range?? for my son we got 1 from mother care it was a 3 wheeler it came with car seat and foot muff it was big and hes now 9months old and a big baby but there still plenty of room yes its big and may take up alot of room but its realy easy to monover and 1 hand fold down
i have just had a baby and wanted to get out there walking asap so purchased a 3-wheeler;jogger pram. im not too sure wat country etc u r in but i got ours from target (wait for the baby sales. they come round every 30 days or 3 minths depending which stores) and i have a basinet insert for an extra $30.00; all up it cost us $150.00..less than half its rrp.

or you can look on ebay or the trading post!
any good decent pram that can be used from birth upwards at the moment most mothercare stores are having a sale on their prams.
their isnt a good pushchair or bad pushchair for newborns as long as they are suitable from bith they will be fine!
any as long as they are warm and safe

Can you give me advise on setting up my son's fishing pole?

I haven't been fishing in over 25 years and I'm taking my 4y/o son to the neighborhood fishing day tomorrow. Originally Dad was going to go with us but he was called out of town at the last minute. We have a little ZEBCO Spongebob Pole for our son to use but I don't remember how to set it up. I have 3 different size bobbers, small weighted crappie hooks, and a casting plug. Any advice? Can you give me advise on setting up my son's fishing pole?
Try a medium sized weighted hook w/ a medium sized bobber approx. 3 ft. above it. Get some large meal worms. You can find them at most pet stores or bait shops. Run hook through worm several times so the fish will have to work at it. Wait til he pulls it completely under, set the hook %26amp; enjoy watching your little man have a ball. Take along a pair of needle nose pliers and a 5 gallon bucket. Pliers make it easier %26amp; safer to pull the hook out. Keep the fish in the bucket for a little while. Your son will have a ball watching it. Good Luck %26amp; enjoy this special moment. P.S. Don't forget the camera! Can you give me advise on setting up my son's fishing pole?
well i'd use a medium - little bobber and have a sinker rite above the knot where the hook is and use very little pieces of bait don't worry bout size of fish think bout how to keep the kid busy little fish more to keep entertained just have fun Double looped-knots always work good and very strong

Hi could an astrologer advise me what career path I'd be most suited to?

    Birthday: 21st Feb 1983 6.08pm (London, UK)

I have two career paths in mind, one involves in a caring capacity with adults, and one with education %26amp; children.

Which would I be better suited to?Hi could an astrologer advise me what career path I'd be most suited to?
There's a huge amount of responsibility behind my answer so it's only going to be short.

I feel that although you might enjoy working with children more, adult conselling would be something that helps YOU more, and it'd be a career that would give you greater satisfaction.Hi could an astrologer advise me what career path I'd be most suited to?
Go to www.cafeastrology.com and get a natal chart. Then come back with information on location of the ruler of the 6th and 10th houses. Any planets in those houses are important and where the north node is. Then we can talk!

Does anyone need Windscreen advise , either removing or replacing , or door glass fitting ..?

I am a windscreen fitter for the last 7 years , does anyone need advise , either windscreens or your door glasses not working properly or winding up then back down on there own , ?Does anyone need Windscreen advise , either removing or replacing , or door glass fitting ..?
Hi there, Well thanks on behalf of everyone for volunteering yourself to give advice. I'm sure you will get loads of questions.

Okay, any vehicle. What is the cheapest way to buy a screen (apart from a breakers yard).

i.e. If I need an exhaust, the last place I'd go would be the likes of QuickFit etc. I'd get one from a trade supplier like Birkinshaw International or Eastend exhausts Glasgow.

Is there such a thing for screens/glass...who does Auto-glass etc buy from?

    best regards

    Charlie.

I am 39 years old and went through a lot of trauma in my lifetime! does anyone have any advise for a good nit?

Child abused, verbal abuse, psysical abuse, bad back, tense muscles. Advent Bible reader, love the LORD, and am now away from a bad marriage!I am 39 years old and went through a lot of trauma in my lifetime! does anyone have any advise for a good nit?
That's the thing: you went through it. Through.

It didn't come to stay it came to pass.I am 39 years old and went through a lot of trauma in my lifetime! does anyone have any advise for a good nit?
    Inner Child Workbook.
been there done that, let me tell you how i got past it all, first i hid in drugs for twenty years, didn't work but hey at the time it was fun,now I'm paying for it being sober(2 years) (longer story). What i did was made peace with it.I forgave the people whom had done me harm out of there own selfishness.I gave up giving them the power over me.I'm the one who decided that the cycle of abuse etc stopped with me.Since Ive been there i understood the ramifications of actions taken upon me by others and realized i was capable of repeating the cycle.I made a conscious decision, not to repeat what others had done to me and forgave them for what they had done, and what if any things i had done and learne d the only way to change the world was to change myself, thus a change in the world
I can relate on all but one point.

So, have you had the chance to talk with any person in length about the bad stuff....some one in the Counseling or mental health field?

Each of these abuses and traumas can add to your stressors, and because they ';feel familiar'; it's easy to head back into relationships or work or living environments where you experience more of the same.

    A Counselor or Psychologist can act as a ';coach';, looking over the big picture, noting the places where you may be stuck or have difficulty moving past it. They can ';coach'; you to look at what you do and why you do it. A Christian Counselor is also experienced in pointing you toward the healing of forgiveness, as well as considering the major life questions like ';How can a loving God allow me to experience the garbage the world has to give out?';

So glad to hear you're away from the abuse.

It would be great news to hear you are seeking help to heal, moving forward with your life on a different path.

And........If you're dealing with depression or difficulty performing your daily tasks for more than a few weeks, get in to see your Dr. The stress you've been through recently may have depleated or caused a chemical imbalance. Don't be afraid of antidepressants. With a few months' use you can begin to get your energy and your positive outlook back.

The more stable your emotions, the less body problems you'll have too.
You need intense counseling. Try to become involved in an activity that not ';you'; centered. Although you deserve to be in the center, this activity will take your mind off of your horrible experiences.
Wow! You sound like my lost twin sister! Seriously, I am sorry to hear about how your life went into a roller coaster of disaster. But I can say that you survived it all. God, you have been through a lot in your life. I bet you have an awesome testimony. I been through a lot and I can tell that you need some healing. You are doing the right thing by reading your bible. God puts us through so we can come out and witness to others. I was in a bad marriage--verbal abuse, adultery, and now I am able to talk to other women and people about what I experienced. The back pain sounds like stress. Also sounds like you need someone to talk to about all these things. I will keep you in my prayers. Keep your head up and take care of YOU. That's what important. Be blessed for you are in spite of what it looks like!!

  • Can anyone who has bought the HomeTek travel iron & garment steamer advise if it is as good as it seems on TV?

This steam iron/garment steamer is being advertised on Pitchwell TV in the UK and shows the creases from a cotton shirt effortlessly falling away. I was wondering whether anyone has bought one and whether they would recommend it as a good buy. Were the results as good as you expected? Was the steam adequate for heavily creased cotton, as suggested by the TV ad?

Thanks in advance for your advice. Can anyone who has bought the HomeTek travel iron %26amp; garment steamer advise if it is as good as it seems on TV?

Hi, You don't say whether you're having any problems with your skin, but I noticed on your page that you're in college. Being a young adult, you might have issues with oily or combination (areas of both oily and dry) skin. In that case, I'd recommend

    MINT MEDLEY CLEANSING SCRUB

    2 cups rolled oats

    2 cups cosmetic clay

    1 cup almonds

    2 teaspoons dried peppermint

    2 teaspoons dried lavender

In a blender or with a mortar and pestle, grind the almonds, oats, and herbs into a fine powder. Gently stir this powder together with the clay. Store in a covered container.

When you're ready to wash your face, mix 1 heaping teaspoon of the mixture with water to make a paste. Gently massage into your skin. Rinse well with tepid water.

This cleanser absorbs oil and exfoliates, making it ideal for people with oily or breakout-prone skin.

    FRESH LEMON TONER

    1 cup distilled water

    2/3 cup witch hazel

    1/2 cup lemon juice

Combine ingredients. Pour into a clean container. Always shake well before using.

Lemon is a powerful astringent. Be careful to keep it away from your eyes.

    EGG WHITE TONER

    1 egg white, beaten

Clean your face well with any natural cleanser. Smooth the raw egg white on your face, and leave it on for 15 minutes. Rinse off with luke warm water.

There are dozens more recipes in many categories (even a section on men's products) on www.oldenbuzz.com. Hope this helps!
I can honestly tell you that the best advise for natural skin care would to buy ayurvedic skin products. This is traditional medicine native to india. These remedies consist of all natural and herbal products. They may be difficult to find according to where you live so if you live in the united states you might want to go to an indian store, if anything you can just order online. Honestly, they work. I had alot of acne and dandruff but the ayurvedic product thay i bought in india for acne and dandruff helped so much that after 1 month my dandruff was completely gone and after 2 months my acne was gone. =P

Can anyone anywhere advise me as to how to kill out sandburr infestation?

if possible i would like to cause them a slow and painful death!!!!!!!!Can anyone anywhere advise me as to how to kill out sandburr infestation?
Sandburs don't do well in cold weather...and you'll usually find them germinating in late spring or early summer and dying off in late fall or early winter.

Not sure if you're having a problem on your lawn or not. IF you are... the best way to control sandbur is to increase the density so that the seeds won't be able to germinate. Fertilizing will aid in turf density and increasing the mowing height will help prevent sandbur seeds from being exposed to sunlight and therefore germinating.

For sandburs in TURF: The best way to control them chemically is by using a pre-emgergent herbicide. IF you have established/mature sandburs in your turf, you'll have to use a combined mixture of MSMA (2 Tablespoons/gallon water) mixed with Imazaquin or Image (6 Tablespoons/gallon water). MSMA can't be used on St. Augustine or Centipede lawns but you can use Imazaquin by itself once you've physically removed the established sandburs.

IF you want to treat prior to sandbur emegence in NON-TURF areas, where sandburs are established; mix Pendimethalin OR Oryzalin (both are pre-emergents) with Roundup at prescribed rates and spray the weeds and soil. Make sure you keep this spray mixture away and off landscape plants and lawns.

Hope you find this information useful. GOOD LUCK!

(certified professional crop consultant with a degree in plant science)Can anyone anywhere advise me as to how to kill out sandburr infestation?
    PJ, what is sand burr?
You don't say where you live.. I live in Texas and have that sand burr problem, and planted Floratam to get rid of sand burrs, AND dollar weed, it is far superior in every way to St Augustine , I can actually go barefoot in my yard now !!!!
The only way I know to get them out is to take each one out by the roots that you see even if they don't have the stickers on them yet. I had the same problem and it takes alot of just going out and digging them up. It also helps to keep you grass cut short and plant other grasses to choke them out, like centipede.
The important thing about controlling any weed, including sandbur, is to get it before it goes to seed. If you can mow it just as it is flowering, that reduces the amount of seeds produced. There are many herbicides that are effective if you choose that method. Glyphosate, Round-up, will control it, but if the sandbur is in a lawn or garden area, it will also kill surrounding plants that might get sprayed. 2-4 D, sold as weed-b-gone, will also kill sandbur and will not damage grass. It will however kill any other broadleaved plant that it contacts.

How would you advise me to do this?

There's this girl that works at the same grocery store as me and I really want to ask her out. Only thing is i get really nervous and don't know what to say. I kinda worry that ill say something stupid. I dont have alot of experience with this either. What do i do, and what do i say????How would you advise me to do this?
ask her out. that's the only way to know. whether it ends good or bad it's also the only way you'll get practice asking a girl out. so you won't loose either way. GOOD LUCK! HAVE FUN!

p.s. you're both young, so who cares if it's a work romance. they happen all the time and they can be fun! How would you advise me to do this?
    Ok what to do:

You need to act calmly. Don't be nervous. If you get nervous think of it as: i am just talking to a person, she is exactly like me. She has two arms, two legs, two eyes, a brain and a heart. The only thing different is that she is a girl and you are a guy! Just causally walk up to her and act as if you were just talking to her about stock from the supermarket.

    What to say:

Say something along the lines of:

Hey, i was just wondering if you would like to catch a movie or go and get some dinner. If you don't want to i understand however i just hope that you can give it a try. OR you could say a joke to crack the ice. And then when she is laughing say: 'Hey do you wanna maybe catch a movie sometime?'

If she says no then handle your rejection properly. Don't change your attitude towards her because you never know she might change her mind!

    Hope it all works out!
I am a supervisor at a grocery store, and i hate to burst your bubble, but workplace romances can be a very bad idea. If you are serious about dating her, you need to ask her outside the workplace, and keep it professional at work.

HI there, please advise if there is a binding contract for my uncle to build the road?

    My uncle owns Jacob 's commission and his company contracted with California Electric power commission to build an access road. The contract contained the foll: clause: The contractor agrees that he is fully informed regarding all of the conditions affecting work to be done and labour and materials to be furnished for the completion of the contract and that his information was secured by personal investigation and research and not from the commission or its estimates and that he will make no claim against the commission';

The area where the road was to be built was under heavy snow last Winter and the temperature was very low. There was also plenty of muskeg than indicated. My uncle claimed that the property description was inaccurate and claimed to be excused from the contract. Is there a binding contract to build the road?

HI there, please advise if there is a binding contract for my uncle to build the road?
No, since he never started the job. They will just put it up for bids again and find another contractor to do the job. Stop worring.HI there, please advise if there is a binding contract for my uncle to build the road?
You have only given us a clause from the contract. Did he sign a contract? Are there other provisions that give conditions to withdraw?

What is the Ca. Electric Power Commission? Certainly not a State agency.

  • Hi, can anyone advise me on procedure for getting Telstar 26 mk1 ready for trailering please?

The mast has been removed and I am about to remove the top hinge bolts.( 4 x 3 bolts ) leaving the centre one in place on each hinge until the lift. The rest of the bolts underneath will be removed just before the lift.

When ready the telstar will be craned onto a flatbed trailer by crane where I realise I have to support the main hull but avoid weight on the sponsons. Can the whole thing be lifted with the strops on the hull leaving the sponsons hanging freely for the duration of the lift? My guess is that the hinge bolts (one either side ) would be ok as long as it is not a sustained period. I( Hope !

Has anyone got advise on a European vacation?

We are hitting Rome (3 days), Italy; Naples, Italy; Dubrovnik, Croatia; Venice, Italy; Venice, Italy; Messina, Sicily, Italy; Barcelona, Spain; Cannes, France; Livorno, Italy in June via Carnival cruise. Especially would like input on day excursions/points of interest that are not to be missed at the above locations. Any other advise would helpful as well. I've never been on a cruise ship before either.Has anyone got advise on a European vacation?
In Rome there is heaps to see and do....lots of Roman stuff eg Colloseum, Pantheon, Roman Forum as well as other things like the Trevi Fountain, the Vatican etc.....You won't be lost for things to do there.

I would try to go to Pompeii while in Naples....I personally haven't been into the main central part of Naples, but when we went thru it, I was a bit dismayed....but Pompeii is nearby so try to go there....we had a tour guide ( I went on a day tour from Rome) and it was great hearing about all the extra bits and pieces of info....its a large site too....not a couple of streets like I tohught!!!

Dubrovnik is lovely and its quite small....the main stuff of interest is in the old part of town surrounded by a wall ( which you can walk and is an excellent way of seeing the town and stunning views of the sea!)...its very pretty and quite old!

Venice is also another small city which does not take much time to get around....I didn't bother with the expensive gondolas I just took the old ferry boats that got up and down the canals and give you great views. The main stuff to see is around St Marks square and Rialto bridge ( excellent market just next to it with lots of souveniers)

    Didn't go to Messiner

Barcelona is pretty cool I have to say. I only spent a day there. I did one of those double decker ( open top) bus tours which go around the city ,to get around as many things of interest as I could.....I did the one that goes to the Sangrada familia Cathedral which is a good tour....I recommend you seeing as much of Gaudi's stuff as possible its amazing!!! There is apartments and a house ( highly recommend this) on the same street ( not sure of name) but its near the main drag of La Ramabala ( great shopping).

Liverno nope didn;t see or Cannes so can't help you there.

Hope these things help.Has anyone got advise on a European vacation?
Hey.....I am going backpacking in Europe in May and we are hitting alot of countries such as Italy, France, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. I think the thing I am most excited about though is when we are going to visit Cinca Terra(??not sure on spelling). It is a town you can only get to by hiking I think and its so beautiful. Its along the coast and I think it will be so peaceful
    Go to Amsterdam.

He is thinking of going into a 4 year program at an art institute--but four years seems like such a commitment and in such a narrow field. Any advice on how to advise him in terms of getting an education that will serve him well?My brother wants to be a chef. Where should I advise him to go to school?
The CIA (no, not that one!) I know three chefs that attended, they are the best!

http://www.ciachef.edu/My brother wants to be a chef. Where should I advise him to go to school?
    Pennsylvania School of Culinary Arts.
Most states have a culinary school that would help him get on with the nicer local restaurants. But you should help him shoot for the stars! Why not the Cordon Bleu in Paris? Or maybe Italy??

And 4 years is a normal commitment. Doctors go to school for much longer than that, and they have a pretty narrow commitment, if you think about it.
The California Culinary Academy on Post street. One of the best in the nation. Whooo...I used to go there for lunch and I can tell you, those people can cook!!

Just before you ask... there is nothing wrong with her and she just had a vet check. She's 7yrs old and 'healthy as a horse'.

Just curious as to what techniques you use... western or english (dosen't matter to the horse its all the same). Thanks... you can never give me too much info, thanks.

she only does this at the lope, and I do tons of lateral work, getting her to move her hip and shoulder... she can do all of those things at the walk and trot, plus I use lots of ground poles at differents paces, and she can work over poles in all gaits. And I have taught her lead ques, and rollbacks, she just doesnt want to use her haunches in the lope. Thanks everyone!

any questions (pertaining to this problem)? I'll be glad to answerAdvise..............?
What you do to get her off her shoulders is drive her into the bit with you body and also you need to make sure you are carrying your hands, cause many horses use your hands as leverage. So, your gonna have to keep you hands in place over the withers, not in front or below but over, that will help them carry their head, and if they try to hull down don't give in, keep you hands in place and your back strong. But, a good horse should always propel with his hind quarters.

    Hope this helps!!!Advise..............?
Have her bite the bit while you lope. It makes her tuck in her neck and brings her head off the ground so to speak and she will stop pulling forward with her shoulder. Do you know how to make her bite the bit? If not email me and I'll go in depth on it.
What fo you mean by dragging herself along with her shoulders?
i'm not sure of what you mean either.
you dont know horses ,,,,,,,,,, give her shoulders a massage .......... and if you know sugar cane's gum (choclate like) take that and create a syruo of that gup and give that to your house ........... that will be all rigt.............. take care of your horse

what exatly do you want to print and on what? do you mean cd's or dvd's? sorry.
You can buy inkjet decals or inkjet tattoo paper.

These are essentially stickers with a transparent base so that you can print on them with normal inkjet printers. Your Epson will do just fine with these.

After you print the decals/ tattoos, you can stick them onto the light switches or other smooth surfaces. There will be instructions in the packs that you buy.

You can buy those decals/ tattoos at most of the major stores like Staples. Some of the bigger brands include Avery, etc. You can also get them online... just do a search for inkjet decals or inkjet tattoo.
Do you mean like a Letraset Transfer, or a Bite into Metal sort of thing ?

Can anyone advise me on a good dell graphics gard for gaming thats good value?

well this depends on how much you want to spend but you can get geforce 8600gt around $85 -100

    or 9600 gt for $165 - 200

The 8600 will play most games at low to mid settings and the 9600 should play almost all the current games on high settings. Currently the best cards are 8800gtx which can cost over$200 www.newegg.com is the best place to look read some of the reviews on this site they will give you a good idea of what you should get.

Also size will be an issue for you since you have a dell case they are usually small. Can anyone advise me on a good dell graphics gard for gaming thats good value?

dnt cost 2 much eitherCan anyone advise me on a good dell graphics gard for gaming thats good value?
For best value, turn to the ATI Radeon HD3xxx series if you have a PCI express on your motherboard. ATI admitted that the X1xxx and HD 2xxx series were garbage on PCI express.

    For PCI-x : http://3btech.net/saatirahd385.html

For an older AGP slot, the HD 3850 is fine, but they are difficult to come by. Go here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductLis鈥?/a> and select auto-notify for the Sapphire card, then buy that puppy!
dell rips you off when it comes to graphics cards id say for the best value at tigerdirect a 8800gt for 189$ which can max out all games out except for crysis. If you looking for in the 100$ range id say a 8600gt which is a low-mid range card its pretty good. usually med settings on games that require a good graphics card.

Whats some advise for a 15 year old who wants to become an airline pilot.?

flying is the only job that i could envision myself enjoying. what all will i have to do to become an airline pilot?Whats some advise for a 15 year old who wants to become an airline pilot.?
    Many good pointers from Rob.

Depending on where your source of money is (if you have rich parents or another way of getting all the money you need for this rather expensive education), there are different ways of going at it.

First of all like rob said, find out what your secondary passion in life is and get a 4-year degree in that field. This is not only a fall-back plan if the airline dream fails, but it is needed by most/all major airlines to even get an interview.

While you're working on your 4-years, or after, depending on how your money situation is, you need to get all your flight training done. You can either do this on a fast track type of program like through ATP http://www.atpflightschool.com/, or if money is an issue you can do the cheaper way of doing it part time while working at a local FBO (Fixed Base Operator), this is basically a local flight school / flying club, with more independent instructors and usually cheaper rates and easier to do things at your own pace.

At least you will need a private pilots license, instrument rating, commercial pilots license (with multi and single priveliges).

After you've gotten these ratings the ';normal'; road is to get your flight instructor licenses and work as a flight instructor for a few years to build the hours you will need to get hired at an airline (all depending on how the airline industry is fairing when you're ready to send your resumes).

All in all you can expect a debt of about 60 000 dollars for flight training alone, and then add for living expenses and college on top of that.

Good luck!Whats some advise for a 15 year old who wants to become an airline pilot.?
At this point, concentrate on getting good grades and staying out of trouble. Plan on going to a 4 year college. Pick a local state college (they're cheaper) as airlines don't care where you went to school or what your major was in. Pick your second career choice and get a degree in that. I say that because most airline pilots get furloughed at least once in their career and many decide to leave the business altogether (even though they also once thought that flying was the only job they could envision themselves doing). Having a backup career helps that.

If you have the time and money, start thinking about working towards your private pilot's license. If you don't have the resources now, no big deal as airlines aren't going to care when you actually start your flight training. Get a job and start saving money so you will be able to afford flight training. You could even wait until after college to do your flight training. It doesn't take long to get all of your ratings if you can do it full time.
I'm slightly ahead of you buddy, was in the same situation in career wise until I took some flying lessons and got a real taste of how its like flying a plane, from then on I could imagine how flying a commercial plane must feel like.

I suggest studying Physics at A level %26amp; Maths and try to aim for 3 GCSE's at C grade level in English, Maths %26amp; science, however becoming an airline pilot is very tough and costly.

It roughly costs 拢60,000 to become an airline pilot, but if cash isn't your concern I'd say go for it mate!

If you need further advise do not hesitate to e-mail me and lastly GOOD LUCK! :)
you should be medically fit before you embark on to become a pilot. Go to a AME and get yourself examined before investing any money.
get good grades stay in school and stick to your dream!!! good luck in the future ;)

What's a really cute dog breed? What your advise on which kind of dog i should buy?

I want to buy a dog. I want a really really cute dog. One that doesnt grow too big. but if it does, its not a big problem. And one thats nonshedding and nice with kids. I was thinking shitzus or goldendoodles. Any opinions? What's a really cute dog breed? What your advise on which kind of dog i should buy?
Here are some links to breed selectors. Fill out the questionaires and they will advise you. What's a really cute dog breed? What your advise on which kind of dog i should buy?
it shouldn't depend on cuteness but the personality and temperment...

check this out and read through it..=]
RESEARCH BEFORE YOU BUY. IT DEPENDS IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A HIGH DEMAND DOG, OR A LOW-KEY ONE. I HAVE A GERMAN SHEPHERD AND LOVE HER TO DEATH. RESEARCH FOR A DOG.
If you're looking for ';cute'; buy a stuffed animal. If you're looking for a loving companion adopt a dog. Secondly, ';goldendoodles'; are not a breed and are way too overpriced. You can adopt nearly the same mutt from the pound and save a thousand dollars.

To match a breed with a person you need more information that this. What kind of house do you live in? Are you active? There's a nice quiz that lists breeds on animalplanet.com.
you should really document yourself with lots of books about dogs to be able to make a good choice....because you may find a dog cute...but after a while if he or she is not compatible with the family then its gonna be too late.....a certain breed of dog can be amazing for one person but a nightmare for another...it really depends on your particular lifestyle and a smilar lifestyle with someone else....is not a 100% guarantee that it will work out better....

so i really think.....readings lots lots of books or even websites would be the only reall good solution.....good luck!
Not all dogs shed. Miniature Schnauzers don't. And they rock.

    Arf.
Goldendoodles can actually get good sized. All all dogs shed, it's just what they have to do. The dogs that don't shed much at all like poodles and Bichon Frise need to be combed to prevent matting since they don't shed as other dogs do. Bichon Frise are really cute! Oh and my friend had a shitzu that shed like mad! Might have just been hers but I know it drove her crazy.
i have a cocker spaniel shes vary nice especialy eith kids shes always happy females only grow around 15in. and males only a bit bigger as puppies theyre really cute and it never wears of as they grow

hope i got you thinking of getting one i would never trade my dog (lady)for anything in the worl :)
Try going to a few shelters in your area and check out some of those dogs. It breaks your heart to see them in there...they want homes just as much as puppies. Plus, a lot of them are already trained, etc. I bought a pretty high demand, expensive dog and after looking in shelters around my area I would never do it again. I would get a dog from a shelter, plus they have puppies in a lot of the places too. Everyone wants a certain breed, but check out some mutts....they need love too!
You shouldnt buy a dog, especially from a pet store. I have heard horror stories of store bought dogs. They have them for a few months and they get so sick they have to be put down, before they are even a year old. Go adopt a dog. You can go to rescues, the pound, the humane society, no kill shelters, etc. We found a very cute Jack Russel Terrier mix at the pound. She doesn't shed, very calm, sweet, very good dog. But if you want a small dog, you can look into Shih Tzus, Maltese..those are the fluffy ones you will need to get groomed on a regular basis. So keep that in mind. Or you can get a Chihuahua, a min pin, those don't need as much grooming, just an occasional bath and nails clipped. Don't forget to look at the pound and your humane society or local rescues. Theres lots of homelss animals that need a good home. Pet stores will always have people coming in.
    A Shiba Inu. Very Cute.
Nah, don't buy a dog. Get a stuffed animal; much easier to care for.
I got the right dog mine was a Collie Pup they don't get very big and they can also listen to U. I would go through the newspaper and find a small dog that is ready to leave. Buy a small dog!
If you want a non-shedding dog consider any of the terrier breeds. We have a Welsh Terrier. He is cute, doesn't shed, is approx 18'; tall at the back and about 18#. He is extreemly friendly and is great with children. But, you need to do some research. I would look into local AKC clubs for the breeds that interest you. They are great sources of information.
Silky Terriers are AWESOME and ADORABLE. Think of a yorkie but slightly bigger. They max at about 14 lbs for a big one. They don't shed and are very well mannered even with kids. They're not ';yappie'; either. (I have two...) They are very friendly with everyone and everywhere we go, people want our dogs! No way! They are my babies! ; ) We got both of them through rescues and have had NO regrets. Check out http://silkyrescue.tripod.com/

    Best of luck!
german shepherds are good dogs and they're cute
I think ''cuteness'' should NOT be a leading factor in picking out a dog. Do your research on the individual dog breeds in question. Find out their temperment and energy level.

    P.S. It's ';Shih Tzu';.

  • Can anyone help or have an advise with mortgage/loan problems?

Im stuck with this called ARM loan,my home is going down value wise and my loan is going up as I am only paying the minimum monthly interest to my 100% financing loan.I think im sinking, should i sell it or if it would be sold,it might not even cover my whole loan as the housing market sucks. (From San Jose California)Can anyone help or have an advise with mortgage/loan problems?
I feel sorry for you because a lender stuck you with that type of account.. those types of accounts.. ARM and Interest Only loans should be outlawed. They are the reason for all of these foreclosures we are seeing today. That lender never should have placed you in an ARM account in the first place.

Interest rates are still VERY low right now.. now is the time you need to refinance into a 30-year fixed if you can.. your mortgage amount will be more, but it can't adjust every 6 months like it's doing now and when interest rates rise.. you are then screwed. Rent out a room if you have to, to make up the difference, otherwise you probably WILL sink with all of the other foreclosures. Best of Luck to you.Can anyone help or have an advise with mortgage/loan problems?
You have some research to do. First you need to establish the REAL TRUE CURRENT market value of your home. Not a guess or some old comps from months ago. Call realtors, and check past sales records either online or at county courthouse if you need to. Once you have established a value, compare to what you currently owe. Sales costs and closing costs and any re tax issues will all total close to 8+% of average market value.

So, if the property has REAL current value of $200,000. you may have a net sale of $184,000 approx. Is the current loan balance more or less than that? If less you have some equity, if more you are ';upside down in the house';.

Then, you have to analyze the payment you're making vs. your cuurrent and expected income. Has the payment gone up alot?.....what are the scheduled increases?....Do you have any other source of income you can draw on to make the higher payment?

Finally, you could approach the lender and ask if they could help by locking in the current payment or modifying the loan in some other helpful way. You would need to demonstrate to them your future inability to make higher payments.

This is usually not easy to accomplish until you are delinquent in payments, (not that you should do so purposely), but just be aware that's how they often view the matter. Hope this helps.
You in a bad position and a bad place to live. My uncle is a realestate broker for 20 yrs in san jose and he is going down in flames. No one is buying because of the crises in stockton.

Best of luck to ya, try refinancing.
You need to immediately look into the programs the federal govt has put into effect for people like you. Best thing would be to refinance into a fixed rate mortgage as soon as possible. Selling is not a smart idea at this time, as you must pay off loan to legally transfer property....As long as you can make payments, do not sell. The market will come back and then you could sell and make money....
I am in OC with a similar situation. Here it is; I only allow myself to be upside down on my main residence, not on my investments. If you have a family with you, stick it out so you don't have to move kids and wife.

Now if you walk away you will not be able to buy when the market comes back 3 plus years. because of your credit and the lender will want 20% to 30% down.

The loans that will be written in 3 years will be much more conservative for a while. No 100% mortgages will be available.

So if you want to be a home owner in the next 3 to 5 years you had better stick it out and make your payments.

Most importantly you should contact your lender and tell them to fix your interest rate or you will default sooner or later. They probably wont fix your rate until you are two months late and forclosure looks imenent.

    Good Luck
contact the lender asap and see if they'll help you work out a deal to stay in the house. 500,000 such deals have been done already; although most didn't permanently reduce the interest rate they do buy time.

    *** another idea ***

is this the original loan on the house [the one you bought the house with]??

I'm told in news articles, but have not verified for myself, that in CA if a house sells for less than the original mortgage, the lender can not sue the borrower for the loss. [See end of this story ==%26gt; http://money.cnn.com/2008/02/06/real_est鈥?/a>

So what the article points out is happening is that people who are upside down on a house simply walk away from it.

YES, this will whack your credit for a good three years or more, and if you're able to move down in housing to something cheaper and thus save up a down payment, it may work out for you. [Do everything possible to keep all other bills paying on time.]

The idea is that another house, perhaps even similar to the one you can't afford now, will be much cheaper then and, with a down payment then, your future loan payment will be much smaller than the present one.

Man oh man, but this is going to be very hard on the banks and mortgage lenders. I'm thinking we'll see more bankruptcies in those areas later this year.

As an ex-mortgage lender as well, I don't think zero down loans will ever return to states that won't allow the bank to chase a deficiency. In fact, aside from government programs, you may not see down payments as low as 10% again for a decade.

I have to buy a new tv can anyone advise me?

The bloke in the shop said it has to be blue ray compatible as they will get rid of dvds soon is he telling the truth or just trying to get me to buy a more expensive tv? Also what is better LCD or plasma?I have to buy a new tv can anyone advise me?
The man in the shop is either a Fool or he takes you for one.

The current DVD format is not under any threat at all. The Blu-ray format will take at least 10 years to make DVD redundant because there are so many millions of them in existence.

Pretty well all new television sets are HD-Ready. This means that they are capable of displaying High Deffinition pictures provided that they come from a proper HD source.

At the moment the ONLY HD sources are Sky HD, Virgin HD, Freesat and Blu-ray disc (they call it BD for short).

Your conventional DVD player will feed your new HD-Ready tv set perfectly well through a SCART connector. The picture will be very good indeed.

Some DVD players offer ';HD Upscaling';. This gives a sort of pseudo-HD picture that is sent to the tv through an HDMI cable. The picture from that will not be true HD (because the regular DVD disc isn't recorded in that format) but it will be excellent. Go for this option if you can.

Proper High Definition from a Blue-ray disc will be even better again. These machines are expensive at the moment but will get cheaper eventually.I have to buy a new tv can anyone advise me?
He is full of crap. DVD will be around for a while yet. But you should look for one that is 1080p compliant with an HDMI connection as this will future proof you a bit.

LCD or Plasma is a very personal choice. Generally, I would say upto 40 inch go for LCD and plasma if you want anything bigger.
Any LCD or Plasma with a HDMI can show BLU-ray. DVD format will be around for a long time, the quality of DVD is superb on any TV. LCD HDTVs are best for screen sizes up to 32'; Plasma HDTvs are best if you go above 40'; the viewing angle is wider with plasmas.
the bloke is trying to get more money

lcd is best plasma tvs have burn in issues

also plasma tv uses more electricty
Man is just doing his sails pitch to gain as much money as possible.

I would look at tesco.com as they have excellent bargains on-line on electrical appliances.
Well HDMI is now being replaced by HDMI 3 which is probably what he means.

LCD or Plasma is a matter of taste view them both and decide which you prefer.
    He is a lying retard.

    LCD is better.

Just make sure it is an HD TV.
    I suggest a colour TV.

Those things are apparently quite good.

7 days is no time at all; they need much more time to adjust to each other. Supervise their interaction for the moment %26amp; don't leave them together when you aren't there. Make sure that your dog has his own space %26amp; his own time with you without the cat. Feed them separately %26amp; give each of them his own sleeping area. Encourage good behavior %26amp; praise the dog when he is OK with the cat. Don't punish him when he reacts against the cat. Be patient - it may take some time for the dog to accept the cat. They may never become friends but they should learn to at least tolerate each other.I rescued a cat from the street, he and my dog are not really getting along. Any advise?
They need time to get used to one another. My cat and dog still fight with eachother occasionally, and they've been living together almost a year. You could try discouraging your dog from barking at or running after the cat. Eventually he/she will accept him as part of the family.
Don't worry, give it some time: they'll take a liking to eachother sooner or later, they need time to figure out the boundaries.

I would very much like a job in Administration, preferably in a travel agents. I live in Hertford, so in and/or around there. Hi

I used to work in a travel agents and it's a good fun job. You should be warned though that the money is rubbish. I did it when I came out of college when I didn't need to be earning loads, and I really enjoyed it. I would have stayed working in travel if the money wasn't so bad.

Generally, the type of work in travel agents tends to be mainly sales but some administration.

I'm not sure about the others, but First Choice have vacancies on their website these days.

Good luck, hope you find something you want.I have just finised college studied administration, would like to work in travel agents? can anyone advise me?
';would like to work in a travel agents'; - this is how you presented the statement.

Employers seek professionals who know grammar.

Do you mean that you would like to work in the travel industry as a travel agent?

Recommendation: Network with your local travel agency and find out where they send their staff for training.

Your client service credits may be transferable to their programs, so that the training to become a travel agent won't take you as long as the requirement.

Take a course in grammar also. Employers seek great communicators.

Toastmasters Clubs in your area will help you to express yourself both in writing and on platform.

Good luck on your endeavors! And congrats on your present accomplishments. Life is a daily learning ground.
Why don't you own a online travel agency with YTB its publicly traded so the IRS has verified its not a scam. All you have to do is tell people about it and when they book on your site you get 60% of the comission. Plus you get the perks and discounts of a travel agent, and then your vacations will be a tax deduction. You can make more money by telling people about the company that another option.

i'm going to buy a laptop.it's my first step soin a huge amount of information i've lost my way.

i need a portable laptop, high speed, good battery life. i need it for graduate aducation and i think for some gaming too. price 1000$

thanks for help. Can you advise me how to buy a good laptop?
The faster the proccessor doesnt really matter, what you want is something with a fast FSB. That is a front side bus. It's the speed at which the motherboard/components can communicate with the CPU. Id say, a 1.5-1.8GHz CPU, and a FSB of 1066, would be a whole helluva lot faster than a 2.19 with a 522/800 FSB.

Secondly, The more memory the better. Just for something with the evolving technologies out there, 512 would be recomended.

Thirdly, Hard drive. Most people who use a computer efficiently will never use more than 60 Gigabytes of space. So, id suggest a 60. If you need more, get an external drive, which i swear by them.

Screen size doesn't matter to me, personally, just a money hogger.

Everything else, would be what you want, EX. Onboard components, FireWire(IEEE 1394), USB 2.0, 10/100/1000 Ethernet NIC, 802.11N/B/G.. etc

Lastley, the battery. Try to stay away from NiHM. They seem to die quickly when there is a lot of charging involved.

Hope it helps. =] Have a grat day

I am shopping for a cell phone, and need advise?

I am looking at the audiovox 6700. If you have experience with them, I would love to hear your opinion. Some of my questions are: does it have good sound (music, calls), does it take good pictures, how well does the internet work??

ThanksI am shopping for a cell phone, and need advise?
I have something for you too.

In my opinion, and the cellular companies don't give this information to everyone. If you don't want to be stuck in a contract, you can buy your phone outright and then get the service. You will still be charged for your plan monthly but if you don't like the service or don't agree with the charges, you won't have to pay the $200.00 to get out of your contract.

It's the best way to go and in my opinion, it's far better than going with pre-paid.I am shopping for a cell phone, and need advise?

Who can advise a company in debt?

I know that CCCS and Payplan can advise people on their personal finances, but where can companies go to for free impartial advice in the UK?Who can advise a company in debt?
If you can't speak to your bank, then maybe your local Business Link?

There a good point of reference to tell you who can , if they can't.Who can advise a company in debt?
If you are a director of a company and you believe that the company is insolvent you have a duty to seek advice. You can get into serious trouble if you continue to trade despite knowing that the business cannot meet its liabilities as they fall due. Good for you for resisting the temptation to ignore the problem and hope it goes away.

Pick up the phone to an insolvency advisor. They may also be called ';business restructuring'; or ';corporate recovery'; or something similar, as ';insolvency'; was found to be a negative word that scared potential clients away (duh!).

A decent-sized accountancy firm should have such a department.

Be reassured, they won't necessarily put your company into liquidation or anything and they won't try to bully you into doing anything like that if it is not best for the company. They have an ethical code that requires them to give you the best advice for YOU, not for getting fees for themselves. They will just sit down with you and go through the figures and help you explore your available options.

It is like going to a dentist - if you need it, and you do nothing, then you will regret it as it will only get worse.

Good luck! You're not alone by any means.
Your local business manager who assists you with the bank account should be able to give you some free advice. Failing that, there are government funded business advisors throughout the country who will call out to you and advise you of the best route to take.

I've included a link that may help you.

  • I'm really worried about my best friend and my relationship after what we did. Please Advise?

I'm 15 he is 16 we have known each other since we were born cause our parents were best friends in high school. We always go out together but this time was a different we were in his car and a love song came on we started making out the first time we did the and one thing led to another and I gave him oral sex and so did he to me. And I really worried are we gonna change the way we look at each other is something gonna change? If yes what?I'm really worried about my best friend and my relationship after what we did. Please Advise?
Everything is going to change! Sex changes everything in a relationship, especially if it's only a friendship! You're not his girlfriend, so he has no 'boyfriend duties'. Basically, now, he's going to give you a booty call every time that he's horny. He thinks that because you had sex once, you'll do it again, and that he doesn't have to be a boyfriend. It's going to be awkward for a while, don't doubt that. The next time you talk to each other, it'll probably be a lot of ';um... well... so... uh...'; . You pretty much have three options: 1. Start dating 2. Friends with benefits 3. Forget it happened, stay friends. Go with what you're most comfortable with. I'm really worried about my best friend and my relationship after what we did. Please Advise?
It all depends on the attitude each of you has toward what happened and how you really feel about each other. Did you do what you did because you really love him and can think of no one else but him or did you do it because you were curious or did you do it because you like him a lot and just wanted to do this for him to show him how much he means to you? Get together with him and talk to him about it. Tell him how you feel about it and see how he feels. Perhaps, it was just a one time thing. Then again, maybe it's really more.
It changed right before your eyes and you didn't see it?

I have an idea. The first thing is to stop saying you have ';extreme anxiety';.

If you claim it, you are going to have it. If you say you ';need help'; you are going to need help.

If you claim you are just experiencing normal stress and normal anxiety, that is what will happen. If you claim to be fine and don't need help, that is what will happen.
What you NEED is laughter -- seriously, it is the best medicine.
i have bad generalized anxiety. i took wellbutrin %26amp; paxil %26amp; they both made me feel wacky. ZOLOFT works very well for me. i feel normal, like myself, only not scared panicky %26amp; full of anxiety all day. perhaps you could ask your dr about switching you to zoloft %26amp; give that a try.
well if ur having big panic attacks, xanax or ativan is the best. but if the paxil isn't working well i would try another anti-depressant like zoloft, which is what i use, lexapro or effexor. those are the three i would recommend.
In the vitamin store there is something call CALM pills
Ativan helps, but it can be addictive.

    - I am a Marine nearing the end of my first enlistment.

I don't know what GT and ASVAB are, but I assume you are saying you are in the upper percentile in testing. Coming from my point of view (just graduated aerospace engineering) I would recommend an engineering degree from a good school. The military background will help a lot in this field. Engineering isn't for everyone but there are a ton of jobs right now in certain types of engineering.
Intel will open many doors for you after your tour or if you retire. If kids are in the near future, you maybe want to get intel work that has office type setting, such as signals analysis or image analysis. If you're sure no kids are coming, and you can pass a DLAB, try for an interrogator position ( if the marines do that). Your language skills will be invaluable after you leave. Thanks for your service.
My son is in the Army. He just re-enlisted for three more years. He has a wife and two daughters with one more on the way. In this world of so much uncertainty, I think I would chose to stay in the military. At least you know you will be cared for,in any event. However, I would strongly urge you and your wife to seek the Lord's presence in your life, if you don't already. We all need Him to be there for us. But with your occupation it is a prerequisite due to the nature of your work!

I commend you highly, for your duty and bravery to your country. I am humbled to answer your question. I will keep you safely in all my supplication unto the Lord! He 'Is' Good
My husband just retired from USMC as a 0-4. He started at E-1. He just got a job with a contractor making a good amount of money. Plus he gets his retirement. If you can hack it out until retirement, I'd do it. Unless you have an awesome job waiting for you. Also...I would reccommend you ask your wife what she thinks. She's the one who has to follow you all over the country. Good luck to you. Semper Fi.
You should consult your wife about it, but re-enlisting sounds like a good call.

I did my paperwork for the Marines last week, and do MEPS tomorrow
See if you can get paid more by being an goverment civilian or a working for a government contractor.
4 more hitches and you can retire, and work a civilian job.
