You can have your own website without having to do the website design yourself. I would recommend using Wordpress. You can use it with your own domain or start out with a free site at Wordpress.com. One way to sell products for other companies is to do affiliate marketing. You can find affiliate programs at sites like Commission Junction (www.cj.com). If you have actual physical products you wish to sell you could add an eCommerce plugin to Wordpress.
