I don't want to waste my money on a shop to do it!I'm looking to make a homemade front camber ajustment tool for a 93 ford tempo gl, anyone got some advise?
Regardless if the car is taken to an alignment tech, the factory didn't provide a way to adjust the camber on that vehicle.....and he's on commission, so don't look for him to come up with anything ';on his time';.....for free.
If you want to come up with something to adjust the camber, I recommend doing it from the bottom, where it bolts to the spindle. Elongating the holes, then coming up with something to keep it there, would do what you want it to. Been there, done that.
BTW, the toe with be affected after adjusting the camber, so make sure you have it aligned afterwards.

Another option is to put in an aftermarket kit.
I've always left my alignments to the professionals.
no matter what you are still going to have it aligned-just let the shop do it
