I managed to get this CPU for 拢50 after a bit of haggling at my local computer fair.

Only problem is, its the OEM version, no heatsink...

A normal Socket 775 Heatsink will suffice. No need for the 拢40+ heatsinks. Can anybody advise a Heat sink for my Intel Q6700 QuadCore CPU?
I have a Thermaltake V1 CPU heatsink, and it does well for my Overclocked Dual Core Pentium E2160 @ 3.4 Ghz, and it should do well for your Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700, either that, or go with one thats copper, and is made by Arctic Cooling, Thermaltake, or Cooler Master, as those are the top brand names in CPU cooling.
I use a Zalman 9700 which looks really cool and keeps your processor really cool as well. Its quite expensive so would cost only about 拢10 less than your cpu so is probably not what you are looking for.
