that is the biggest bs i have ever heard...be urself whichever stupid adult said that to you was probably uncool themselves in hs. the reason that some kids are uncool in hs is because they are being themselves...and unwilling to conform to the styles of others around them, while it is good to have some of your own style, you have to some degree conform to society (in your case hs) to be accepted, those who do not give a damn of the opinions of others and go on as they please will not have many friends and will certainly not be accepted into the ';cool'; stereotype
Because when you are adult you can麓t be yourself ... all your teenage and early adulthood will you try to be like those others, who are cool according to the mimicry world麓s opinion. So what they say is : '; What is your opinion about this kind of cool?'; And if they cant help you to be like the others then stop trying and be cool in yoooour way.
Because finally as adults we realize that we ourselves are not good enough. It is better that we become (like) Christ; ergo little christs, or ';Christians';.
